JAKI GRAHAM
Jaki’s association with The Charity Dreamgirls started in 2008, when she was asked to perform at their annual Charity Soul & Motown Revue in Halifax. After the event, the girls approached Jaki and asked her if she would become one of their patrons. Jaki graciously accepted.
Jaki has become heavily involved with the charity and often performs across the country with the girls and their band.
Promise Dreams is a national based charity, with their head office is right on Jaki’s door step in Wolverhampton.
The charity was launched in 2001 and raises money for children who are seriously or terminally ill and provides treatment, help and support for both them and their families.
For over 30 years Compton Hospice has been supporting patients facing a life-limiting illness, and their families. Their purpose is to make a difference to people’s lives when their illness is no longer curable.
The hospice has looked after some of Jaki’s closest friends and she holds the work the team do very close to her heart.
Jaki was the 1st female celebrity to take on the role of ambassador for Ball To Cancer in the summer of 2012.
With 200,000 men diagnosed each year with cancer in the UK, killing 10 men an hour, the charity is committed to raising funds for male cancer awareness and research.
